Out to Giron ... Bay of Pigs and more Cuban history

The next morning I left at twilight and watched the sun rise and made Giron before noon and the heat of the day.

Lots of history at the site of the US sponsored invasion at the Bay of Pigs. There was an interesting museum commemorating the imperialist yankie  invasion of Cuba and the heroic battle by the Cuban people to protect their freedom and independence.
